Annual Events in Westlake
The Town of Westlake hosts many events throughout the year. We hope that you and your family will plan to attend one or more of the events listed below.
Annual Concert Series
Held annually each spring and/or fall, typically on Thursday evenings at the Solana Plaza, the Annual Concert Series is jointly hosted by TXRE (property managers of The Plaza) and the Town of Westlake.
Westlake Classic Car Show
Held annually on the third Saturday in October, the Westlake Classic Car Show is a great time to discover the Golden Era of the Automobile. This is a car show for vintage classic original or restored-to-original automobiles, trucks, and pickups for 1909-1959 models only.
Community Tree Lighting
Historically held annually on the first Thursday following Thanksgiving, the Community Tree Lighting is a free community event with warm beverages and family fun while citizens light up the town tree. Typical event activities include carriage rides, a reindeer petting zoo, cookie decorating, hot beverages, live holiday-themed performances, and photos with Santa and other special holiday characters.
Historical Marker Dedication Days
Held periodically in the spring and/or fall, an informative dedication program is held on a local site in Westlake, previously identified by the Westlake Historical Preservation Society, as having strong historical roots in the development of Westlake and the surrounding Cross Timbers region.
Please view a brief video of our 7th historical marker dedication at Mahotea Boone Trail, held March 25, 2017.
