Emergency Medical Services
The Westlake Fire / EMS Department provides paramedic level ambulance service to the citizens of Westlake and those that work in the many businesses located in our community. Only emergency ambulance services can be provided.
Note: Westlake Fire / EMS cannot transport patients to a doctor’s office, a clinic or a nursing home.
The Westlake Fire / EMS Department staffs a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU), as well as a paramedic engine company that includes advanced life support capabilities. Both of the units contain state-of-the-art equipment for emergency medical care.
