Arrange for a pick-up time with the Public Works Department by calling 817-490-5732 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Currently, all pick-ups are conducted at Town Hall.
Bring a check for the deposit of $1,000 to the pickup.
While in use, the contractor is responsible for loss or damage to the meter. If the meter is lost or damaged, the contractor will be billed for the cost of replacing the meter. If the replacement costs are not paid in full, inspections & permits may be suspended for all projects in the Town of Westlake under the contractor's purview.
The contractor is also responsible for sending in their meter reads by the end of the month. A reminder email will be sent to the email address provided on the application approximately a week before the due date. If a read is not supplied, a fee may be assessed.
A base service fee of $669.04 will be charged per month, regardless of consumption. If no consumption is recorded for six months, the Town may request the return of the meter.
Contractors can return the meter any time during regular business hours by dropping it off at Town Hall or surrendering it to a Town of Westlake employee in the field.
