Family & Community

Carol has served on the Town Council since 2008 and has had the honor of serving as Mayor Pro Tem for the past eight years.

Carol was born and raised on Long Island, New York and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology/ Pre-Med at Fairfield University. Carol worked in the Telecommunications Industry in New York and Massachusetts for 17 years, which included AT&T and the evolution of companies of NYNEX/Bell Atlantic to Verizon.

Carol and her husband Charlie moved with their three young children to Westlake in 2004 and instantly fell in love with the beautiful landscape and small-town feel. Carol jumped right in to volunteer in community activities including Arbor Day, as Past Vice President of the inaugural Public Arts Society, Westlake Academy Gallery Night Chairwoman, and as a Safe Haven Panel Judge for Legacy of Women Awards. Carol has been a Master Gardener for ten years and has enjoyed highlighting Westlake gardens as a Columnist/Writer/Photographer for Simply Westlake Magazine.
