February 2017: Indoor Plants

With another month of winter to go, things can seem a bit boring and bleak. The Texas weather remains as unpredictable as ever this time of year, making it difficult to do things outside. A few ways to liven things up inside might just be what is needed. An easy way to accomplish that is by grabbing a few plants or herbs to grow indoors.

Important factors that go into judging whether a plant is suitable for you and your home are aesthetics, the amount of light and water needed, how high or low maintenance the plant is, and the benefits of each plant.
