In our ongoing efforts to help residents and stakeholders stay informed, Town of Westlake Staff would like to provide you with the very latest on zoning case Z-12-29-17 involving the undeveloped land off Solana Boulevard. 

Wilbow Corporation has formally submitted a revised zoning application to the Town of Westlake for the Knolls at Solana. The newly revised plan contains 59 compared to the original 65 lot plan as well as an increase in open space. The Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing for this case will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018, at 6:00 PM.

The Town Council public hearing will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 6:30 PM.

Both meetings will be held at the Town Hall Council Chambers, 1500 Solana Boulevard, First Floor, Building 7, Suite 7100, Westlake, TX, 76262.

As residents may recall, at the Nov.27 Town Council meeting, council members denied the previously proposed residential development (Z-06-19-17), 61-lot plan (Version 3) by a vote of 3-1 based on consideration of P&Z Commissioner's recommendations, Staff recommendations, letters from residents, and conversations during the Public Hearing on Nov.27, 2017.

This FAQ may help answer some common questions and also provide a historical perspective as it relates to PD1, the recently denied Zoning Case Z-06-19-17, and the newly filed case Z-12-29-17 by Wilbow Corp.
