Our Westlake police department (Keller PD) and our regional
emergency services dispatch (NETCOM) have notified us that any 911 calls
being made at this time from AT&T cell phone customers are not
making the proper connection.
Until the problem is resolved, those calling 911 from an
AT&T phone in Westlake and in the communities of Keller,
Colleyville, and Southlake should use our non-emergency dispatch line - 817-743-4522 - to reach help as quickly as possible.
The Keller Police Department is
receiving reports from across the state that emergency dispatchers are
having trouble receiving 911 calls from AT&T cell phone
customers.
We will keep you updated as soon as we know more or the issue is resolved.
