We have an important update to share regarding an item on the Planning and Zoning agenda concerning the residential zoning (Case# Z-06-19-17) along Solana Blvd.
Staff received a letter yesterday from the applicant (Wilbow Corporation) that was originally scheduled for P&Z consideration August 14, 2017. In the letter, the applicant requests that the public hearings and consideration of the case be postponed as follows:
Planning and Zoning Commission (regular meeting date): October 16, 2017
Town Council (regular meeting date): October 30, 2017
Given this request, a new notice of public hearing will be sent to all property owners and published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reflecting the new dates shown above. Additionally, staff will send out a special notification to residents through the Town's other communication channels.
The recent P&Z cases for the Entrada Block E Residential Site Plan, the new Fire-EMS Station, and a few others are scheduled for consideration by the Town Council at the Monday, September 11 Meeting date at 6:15 pm, the same council meeting where the Town's budget will be presented for approval.
Regarding the September 18, 2017, regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, since (Case# Z-06-19-17) will be delayed per the applicant's request, there are no regular agenda items to consider. However, there will be a workshop discussion item on proposed comprehensive plan policy amendments including building quality recommendations produced by Mesa Planning earlier this year.
Remember: Watch for your Meeting Notification emails for a first glance at upcoming meeting agendas as soon as they are posted. A new notice of public hearing will be published and sent concerning Case # Z-06-19-17 a minimum of 15 days prior to the public hearing dates. Public hearing information will also be available on the Town's web page.
Be sure to watch for your MEETING NOTIFICATIONS to review the agendas, or you can find them on our website here.
