The Town of Westlake would like to notify you of an important change to this coming Monday's Town Council meeting. Due to the overwhelming interest in Case # Z-06-19-17 (New residential zoning case along Solana Blvd.), the Town has decided to hold a joint Council and Planning & Zoning work session so that residents and stakeholders can become more familiar with the case and all the details that surround it.
The primary discussion will surround the current PD-1 zoning provisions and the effect of the comprehensive plan on the PD-1 zoning. The discussion will also provide an overview of the PD-1 district along with its history, specific zoning provisions, and the relationship to our previous and current comprehensive planning documents.
It's important to note, as a result of the P&Z committee's decision to table the discussion during their October 16th meeting, NO decision on the case will be made during Monday's joint session. Instead, further discussion and the public hearing will continue during the Planning & Zoning's regular meeting on November 13th.
Also important to note, the developer's (Wilbow) previously noted meeting for October 30th will not take place so that everyone can attend the joint P&Z and Council work session.
