The Town of Westlake is accepting applications for two regular positions and three alternate positions on the Planning & Zoning Commission.
The Planning & Zoning Commission helps shape the future growth and development of Westlake. The Commission is responsible for the review, consideration, and recommendation for approval or rejection to the Town Council of all development plans and proposals, zoning requests, subdivision plats and replats, site plans, and zoning regulations and ordinances.
Members are appointed to serve for a two-year term. Meetings are typically held on the second Monday of the month when there is a case to be heard. Applications are reviewed by the Town Secretary and final approvals of appointments are made by the Town Council. Applications must be received no later than Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
