The Westlake Wire is a newsletter that began in August 2008 to give Westlake residents transparent and comprehensive information regarding the various facets of their town government and the services it provides. The quarterly newsletter was previously mailed to all town residents. In January 2012, the publication became an electronic-only format, and residents began receiving it via email.
Westlake residents or corporate citizens wishing to ensure receipt of the Westlake Wire may email their information to communications@westlaketx.gov.
With its first issue released in May 2013, a new publication began, exclusively for Westlake residents entitled Simply Westlake! The magazine connects and celebrates the lives of families living in the Town of Westlake by sharing personal stories about residents and local businesses. In 2022, the publication rebranded to STROLL Westlake.
