8 AM WEDNESDAY UPDATE: We just spoke with our Public Works team who says Westlake’s roads are still icy and dangerous. They described Davis Boulevard as an “ice skating rink”.
The westbound bridge from Highway 114’s surface road to Highway 170’s service road remains closed. It will likely take several more hours before conditions improve.
In the meantime, as a reminder, Westlake’s Town Hall and municipal court will be closed today.
Trash pick up will run as normal tomorrow, but there will be no recycling tomorrow. Recycling will be delayed until next Thursday
