- Council participated in the Westlake Academy budget workshop during the work session. This post includes a timetable for the budget process.
- Mayor Greaves recognized staff during National Public Works Week
- Council recognized the WA safety squad members
- Westlake Academy gave its IB Programme 5-year evaluation report
- Tammy Reeves was re-appointed to her role as Mayor Pro-Tem
- Council approved regulating the development of approximately 85.9 acres of land in the Entrada development, to include adding a definition and certain standards for stacked flats, removing the residential to non-residential development ratios, with provisions
- Council approved scheduling a public hearing on July 15, 2025 at 4 pm to consider adoption of land use assumptions and capital improvements plan under which an impact fee may be imposed for water, wastewater, and roadway facilities within the town
- Council approved proposal from Brown Reynolds Waterford Architects for the WA Arts and Science building addition and renovation
- Council approved updates to the WA attendance policy. REMINDER: Registration by May 31 is required for all students who wish to continue to attend Westlake Academy for the subsequent school year. Withdrawals will occur for any student who do not register by May 31st
- Council approved an amendment to the WA admissions policy
- Council authorized the WA Head of School to enter into a 3-year $1 buy-out lease agreement with Apple Financial Services for the acquisition of hardware, software licensing, and services to support WA one-to-one technology device initiative
- Council authorized the WA Head of School to enter into a 3-year agreement with CSI Leasing for the acquisition of hardware to support WA one-to-one technology device initiative
- Council approved the publication of a notice of intent to issue certificates of obligation
